L'Occitane uses Corsican plants for anti-ageing line

Global skincare brand L’Occitane has developed an algae and plant-based anti-ageing range and facial treatment.

Incorporating two key natural ingredients from Corsica, Jania rubens (red) seaweed algae and the wildflower immortelle, the Harmonie Divine range consists of a serum and cream.

The plant extracts form a complex for which L’Occitane has filed a patent for anti-ageing research.

In the lightweight Divine Harmony Serum, the flower essential oil is suspended in a water-based gel enriched with the seaweed extract, creating droplets which also contain myrtle essential oil, camelina, evening primrose and borage oils. As the dispenser pumps, the droplets burst before being applied to the skin.

The Divine Harmony Cream has a refreshing scent of myrtle, musk and immortelle and a soft, fine texture for rapid skin absorption to give skin comfort and hydration.

Each product is designed with an eco-refillable compartment.

The Harmonie Divine Eternal Beauty facial, launched in L’Occitane spas and its partner spa Four Seasons, Singapore, is a luxurious anti-ageing facial with Shiatsu-inspired face massage and scalp massage.
